Rope is supplied in 100M 200m and 220m coils, cutting splicing and or any alteration to the aformentioned is " customisation / personalised "there for falls outside of the CCR https://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2013/3134/regulation/28/made Clause 28/b
Customer orders requiring splicing are firstly cut as ordered, them the splicing is added as a service. e.g. rope 20M+ 30cm /12inch eye may finish 19.5M this being (20M -30cm eye -20cm internal friction part of the splice.)
